What’s been happening…
Last week at the Riccarton races we had a couple of good results coming from Scala Sancta with a bold run for 2nd in the mdn 1200m, and Highly Unlikely also finishing into 2nd over 1800m.
Coming up…
It’s on the road again to Dunedin for star filly Showemhowitsdone. This week she will take her place in the Listed 3yo fillies NZB Insurance Stakes run over 1400m. Terry Moseley retains the ride and with a few new additions to a somewhat similar field from the previous 3yo races she draws gate 8 from 12. We’re feeling pretty disappointed covid has ruined any on course attendance for owners but know the Mullallly family will be yelling her home, so good luck to them.
Trials Tuesday… A possible 4 runners to head to Ashburton trials on Tuesday including 2yo Sweynesse gelding Beau Rogue, Goodonyamate and Lapis Lazuli both having a hit out before resuming at the races, and a 3yo Jimmy Choux filly. Have a great weekend!
