What’s been happening,

Ugo had his first race up in grade and distance against an experienced field on Saturday 65 1800m. He held his own and will take good confidence from the race. Beau Rouge produced an eye catching run in the mdn 1400m. From a wide barrier he was taken back to settle off the rear of the field under Kavish Chowdhoory. He then commenced his run rounding the field and stretched out superbly making up many lengths to finish a head to the winner.

This horse now heads to Mosgiel this weekend to contest the Dunedin Guineas. We will be racing on what will be a rain affected surface but he has drawn a gate at 4 and will appreciate the further distance. Our other runner to head South is Kudos de Sothys. Untried on a wet track but a last start winner over 1800m he steps to 2200m this week with Daniel Bothamley in the saddle.

All the very best to connections running.

Beau Rouge
Clocking some smart sectionals at Riccarton last week puts this Sweynesse 3yo right in contention for Saturday’s race and although untried on rain affected ground we hope to see him skip over the top of it.
Good luck to the Mullally’s!!!
