What’s been happening

It was a day of there abouts but no chocolates for the Timaru meeting. Good runs coming from Devious, Zentessa, debutant Red Light District, fresh up Cailin, and Lake Chalice. Lacking some luck was Highly Charged with an early rush for a position pushing him back then wide, and Big Wink stuck for a run. Nevertheless the team has pulled up nicely and will be fit for another day.

Ashburton Saturday….Another bout of bad barriers this week with three of our 4 runners drawing the carpark so may have to wait for another day. Disturbance has a good gate at 3 in the open 1200m, but the forecast rain doesn’t look promising. We shall wait and see what tomorrow brings.

Oamaru Wednesday…We will be heading down the line for racing next Wednesday with 5 possible starters. Mamma Sans 82 1400m, Cailin 65 1400m, Seduttore 65 1200m, Big Wink mdn 2200m and Highly Charged mdn 1400m. Fingers crossed for good gates and weather.

Mamma Sans

4yo Tavistock mare Mamma Sans is eager to get on this season’s campaign, but with a wide gate will miss Ashburton and head to Oamaru for the Wednesday meeting. She’s now clocked up 3 wins and with her super competitive nature we are looking forward to getting her back on the race track.
